The Race

The race will be conducted from a start line in Moreton Bay at 1100 hours on Saturday 2 August 2008 and travelling approximately 348 nautical miles north along the east coast of Queensland finishing in Keppel Bay. In it’s first year the race was known as the Brisbane to Great Keppel Island Tropical Yacht Race, but with the changes taking place on the island at present, the finish line location was changed and all yachts will now venture to Keppel Bay Marina upon finishing.
