Spectator and Starting Area Information

The 2013 Club Marine Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race starts on Friday 2nd August at 1200 hours.

Spectators are more than welcome, and are encouraged, to watch the yachts prepare for the start and to be there when the gun is fired for the race.

Yachts will begin to circle the starting area from around 1100 hours.

Spectators are requested to monitor VHF Channel 77 for updates and information that will be broadcast to competitors.

Race Officials request that all spectator boats stay well clear of the starting area and follow all directions given by any official boat.

After the race, why not venture back to the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron for an afternoon or socialising and relaxation. Then stay on for dinner!
