“Onyva”

Onyva is well prepared example of the cruiser racer First 44.7. She has been sailing with good results in Queensland waters since late January of this 2008. A strong performance in the 2008 Gladstone race saw her finish 13th of 65 entries and soundly beat the other two 44.7s in the race.

The well drilled crew will be sailing hard in this race, but the main focus for Onyva is trying to win her division at the forth coming Hamilton Island Race Week, where a number of the crew are defending champions from 2007.

In the unlikely event of a windward passage in this year’s Keppel Island Race, Onyva would be hard to beat on IRC. Put your money on her being the first Beneteau home.
